Hello sports fans,
You’re likely here because you are a sports fan, and a sports bettor. Most bettors are in it to win, and that is what we are about at Indigosports. You’ll see on our site that we use historical data to make our decisions…that is called technical handicapping. We use a database of 30 years to match up the past with the present. It may surprise you that most handicappers don’t operate that way….they use what is called fundamental handicapping where they may feel team A’s offensive line will dominate team B’s and thus win the game and cover the spread.
My argument to that type of handicapping is…..why are those that were the best at playing the game, or the best coaches….those that know more football than anyone else, why are they terrible handicappers?
Go on to the ESPN or CBS sports pregame shows with ex-hall of famer coaches and players, and right before the game, the moderator will ask those ex-players and coaches, who will win and they give their final score predictions…..they are straight fades (losers) the vast majority of the time,….you would do better if you did the opposite of who they picked. If fundamental handicapping is the be-all and end-all, why are those guys so bad at picking winners?
